Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Pull the Trigger, Sky Ireland, Business Post, PRII / PRCA, LADbible, Smurfit Kappa, Meta, Droga5 Dublin and Aer Lingus IAPI are thrilled to once again launch the national Cannes Young Lions competition in Ireland for 2023.
The Young Lions competition gives the next generation of industry superstars the chance to prove themselves answering a charity brief under intense pressure. It is one of our favourite initiatives that we run in IAPI and something we look forward to every year. It is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate & support young creative talent in Ireland
In 2023, IAPI will be selecting seven teams to represent Ireland across the categories of Print, Media, Public Relations, Film, Digital, Design and Young Marketers. More details on each individual category can be found below.
Vital information given at the launch included the news that the Global Young Lions competition will return to being physically on site in Cannes for 2023. If you take part in the national competition and win, you must be available to travel from the 17-24 June (Saturday to Saturday.) All competitions will run simultaneously on site with winners announced on Friday 23rd June.
For the national competition, charity briefings will take place on Friday 17th February and work must be submitted by midnight on Sunday 19th February. You must be 30 and younger, born on or after 24 June 1992 to take part in the competition this year.
