The charity that IAPI have chosen for the Digital category is Fairtrade Ireland which was revealed on 22 February at the charity briefing in the Dublin Convention Centre.

This competition is open to IAPI and ICAD member agencies.

You must be 30 years of age or younger, born on or after 22 June 1988 and resident in Ireland.

Who can enter?

Those working in IAPI member agencies and ICAD agencies. You must be 30 years of age or younger, born on or after 22 June 1988 and resident in Ireland.

The Competition

Teams will be challenged to create an out of home campaign with three design visuals created for use on JCDecaux's digipanel network. You must use the brief supplied to meet the charity's objectives and provide a creative solution.

You must submit the following as part of your entry:

  • 3 design visuals in response to the brief for Digital Out of Home
  • 300 word explanation of how your idea fits the brief and how it can evolve in future

Your entry will be judged on the following criteria:

  • The Creative Idea (50% of vote) - Is the work innovative and surprising? What is the potential for industry impact?
  • Strategy & Insight (20% of vote) - Brand relevance, choice of campaign elements, target audience, approach.
  • Relevancy to Brief (20% of vote) - Does the work answer the clients brief?
  • Execution (10% of vote) - Is there rigour in the execution? Would the campaign work?

Entry fee

There is an entry fee of €75 per team.

The Deadline

Midnight on Sunday 24 February

You must submit your entry to katherine@iapi.com and include the CATEGORY (i.e. DESIGN) and both TEAM MEMBERS NAMES, EMAILS and PHONE NUMBERS.

Entries must not contain any agency branding.
