About the 2020 IAPI Female Futures Fund Bursary
About the 2020 IAPI Female Futures Fund Bursary

With the generous support of our bursary sponsor Diageo, IAPI are thrilled to offer this unique bursary for the second year running to high potential females across our membership.

Given the significant changes to our working lives in the last 12 months, IAPI, in collaboration with Diageo, have designed the 2021 programme to broaden its’ reach through comprehensive group leadership coaching. The 2021 Female Futures Fund will give 25 women in our industry the opportunity to take part in the programme which is now open for applications.

“The objective of this leadership coaching bursary remains the same. It is designed to ensure that we retain our best female talent by helping women realise their full potential whilst also achieving a life balance that may include family and/or other lifestyle priorities,” says Stha Banks, Head of Social Media, Core and D&I lead on the IAPI Board and moderator of this morning’s panel discussion. “While we are definitely heading in the right direction with 38% of IAPI member leaders now being female, we still have a way to go in certain areas, particularly within senior creative roles. Our ambition is to close the gender gap at all levels.”

The 2021 Female Futures Fund will be masterminded by Danica Murphy, founder and director of PRISM. Danica is an internationally recognised expert in the areas of executive coaching, high performance team development, training & design, and facilitation. She has co-authored books and training resources on Myers Briggs Type Indicator MBTI© and contributes to a variety of training and business publications. She has designed and delivered award-winning Women in Leadership programmes across the United States, Caribbean and Central America. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors of Ireland, the Irish Institute for Training & Development, the Association for Coaching and is a frequent guest speaker or contributor on Irish Management Institute (IMI) programme.

25 high potential women will be able to avail of the Female Futures Fund. The bursary will fund a group leadership coaching programme that encompasses a kick off meeting, followed by two workshop sessions facilitated by Danica with support from both IAPI and Diageo female leaders.
