Bloom, the Dublin based creative agency, has appointed Liam Wielopolski as Executive Creative Director.

Wielopolski is the most globally recognised creative in the Irish market right now. In his 17 years creative leadership experience both in Ireland and his native South Africa he has racked up over 300 awards at both local and global shows such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clios, New York Festivals, the Effies, Kinsale Sharks and ICADs.

He joins Bloom from Core where he was ECD for the past four and half years, helping to build their creative department and leading them on some game-changing work for clients such as KFC, SKY, Failte Ireland and the National Lottery.

Prior to that he was the ECD of both DDB and Y&R Johannesburg where he spearheaded the development of both agencies, helping them to grow business and transforming them into leading creative hotshops.

“We are in the process of transforming the agency” says Sinéad Boyle, Managing Director of Bloom “What better way to get attention for our clients than have one of the most successful ECDs in the country working on their brands.”

“In fact it is not entirely true to say that Liam is joining Bloom. It would be more accurate to say that he is re-joining the agency.” Says David Quinn, founder of Bloom. “He first came to work with us back in 2008 and we all remember what happened that year. In fact one of our biggest clients at the time was Anglo Irish Bank. Liam’s time with us was cut short due to the recession. We’re delighted to have him back.”

Bloom is now a part of the LWA Group along with Pluto, TAP Creative and VAAS.

Bloom’s clients include Zurich, MSF, Brady Family Ham, Citroen, Decathlon, City of Dublin ETB, Kittensoft and Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien.
