Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland (IAPI) proudly announce the appointment of Christopher Cashen as their new Vice President. Christopher, currently the Managing Partner at Mindshare Ireland, was unanimously elected for the vice president role following a board vote earlier this month.

Chris began his career at AFA O'Meara and has over 15 years of experience in creative, full-service, and media agencies. He currently heads up the strategic practice at GroupM and sits on the Adnet Zero council, fronting media's response to reducing emissions in the media planning and buying process.

His familiarity with agencies of all sizes and structures equips him with invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the advertising industry in Ireland. Having been an integral part of the IAPI Board since his election in 2022, Chris’s nomination to the role stems from his deep-rooted passion for the industry and his unwavering commitment to representing its members.

On his appointment Chris said, "I am thrilled that the board has voted me into the position of Vice President of IAPI. I take their trust very seriously. I look forward to continuing the fantastic work IAPI does on behalf of all members and contributing as much as I can."

Abi Moran, CEO of Folk VML and President of IAPI, said "As President of IAPI, I am thrilled to have Chris as our new Vice President. Chris’s dedication to advancing our industry’s approach to sustainability, growth, and inclusivity, as well as his commitment to enhancing our membership through world-class events and influential marketing initiatives, make him an exemplary choice for the position. I am really looking forward to working more closely with him”.

In his new role as Vice President, Christopher Cashen is committed to working closely with fellow board members and industry stakeholders to further elevate the standards of our industry in Ireland.
