IPG Mediabrands Ireland, one of the country’s leading creative media agencies and part of the Interpublic Group has announced the decision of its MD Eamon Fitzpatrick to leave the business in October to pursue a new opportunity in the immediate future.

Managing Director for the past seven and a half years, his time in the business has been characterised by an expansion of the agency in terms of increasing revenue and staff numbers while also broadening its client portfolio. He assembled a team of highly regarded talent that has become a powerhouse for delivering market leading insights and new business wins. One of the most notable aspects of the agency is his creation of a culture of empowerment and innovation that champions the importance of superlative client service and a “can do” attitude.

"It’s never easy deciding to leave a business where you’ve invested so much of yourself and have great colleagues, commented Eamon Fitzpatrick. "However, with a new opportunity for me on the horizon and a great team in place to take over, it feels like the right time to pass the baton on.

I have loved my time in IPG, and I am so proud of our achievements, I have made great friends along the way while having the chance to work on some of the world’s best brands. It has been a real career highlight and I want to thank all the team for all their hard work and brilliance.”
