Earlier this year IAPI, in line with International Women’s Day launched their 2024 Female Futures Fund programme. Over the past few weeks IAPI received an impressive response, as over 60+ high calibre women from IAPI’s member agencies applied for this prestigious programme.
25 exceptional women will receive a bursary sponsored by Diageo, enabling them to participate in a leadership coaching programme facilitated by Danica Murphy, PRISM Leadership. Supported by both IAPI and Diageo's female leadership, this programme will consist of three full-day workshop sessions designed to empower participants with essential leadership skills and insights.
The judging will be a two-part process. The first round, of judging commenced early last week, as the esteemed panel of judges review each application form and video submission.
This year the panel comprises of a record breaking 47 members. For this year's judging process, IAPI engaged senior leaders, industry experts and former participants from all member agencies to collaborate on the panel.
With careful consideration, judges were organised into groups of five, each assigned a specific set of candidates avoiding conflicts of interest. Furthermore, in a commitment to diversity and inclusion, male leaders have been actively recruited and involved in the judging process. Each group includes at least one senior male leader, contributing their insights and perspectives alongside their female counterparts, all dedicated to identifying the next cohort of female leaders that will be joining the programme.
The second round of judging will take place via online interviews scheduled for April 30th and May 1st with this year’s recipients announced shortly thereafter.
With the selection process well underway we wish all applicants the very best of luck and look forward to announcing the winners shortly. For any queries about this year's programme, please email shreesha@iapi.com
