Held annually the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is home to the world's most prestigious advertising awards. Celebrating creativity, effectiveness and innovation in the global advertising, marketing and communication industries.
At Cannes Lions, the advertising and communications industry meets to celebrate the world's best work, gain insight from iconic thought leaders, be exposed to ideas from the world’s most innovative companies, and gather inspiration from every corner of the creative marketing community.
IAPI, as Ireland's official festival representative, are very pleased to be partnering this year with The Marketing Society of Ireland for our annual event bringing back the latest & greatest from Cannes Lions.
We'll showcase the most inspiring and interesting work, successful case studies and amazing innovations that roared their way to success at the festival. This event is one not to be missed!
We have a splendid line up of speakers for you this year, including Ger Roe, Board Creative Director, Publicis Dublin; Jessica Bermingham, Head of Production, Droga5 Dublin; Eilís Fitzgerald, Head of Marketing Communications, Three Ireland; Laura Lynch, Group CMO, Bank of Ireland, and Rachael Crawley, Senior Brand Manager, Heineken.
Both Ger Roe and Jessica Bermingham served as Jury members for this year's festival. Ger for the Print & Publishing Lions and Jessica for the Film Craft Lions. They'll be sharing their favourite case studies, the campaigns that made them think this year, what the experience of being a juror has taught them and the reasons why they believe it’s so important to be a part of?
We'll also be hearing from the brand perspective with Eilís Fitzgerald and Laura Lynch looking at the campaigns that moved the dial for companies this year and investigating where creativity can effectively aid your businesses growth.
Publicis Dublin, in collaboration with Le Pub and Thinkhouse, set a new Irish record for winning the most Cannes Lions for a single campaign by winning four Gold Lions and four Silver with the “Pub Musuems” initiative for Heineken Ireland. Pub Museums is an initiative to celebrate and protect some of Ireland’s most historic pubs, including the oldest pub in the world using the latest technology to transform them into museums.
Joining us to present this award-winning concept to the Cannes-alysis audience will be Rachael Crawley, Senior Brand Manager, Heineken.
Please join us on Thursday 11th July in the Royal Irish Academy of Music for a morning of inspiring creativity.
