With our dedication to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, IAPI continuously aims to help its members stay up to date with best practices in engaging with, recruiting and retaining diverse talent in the advertising and creative industries.

That is why we have partnered with Irish intercultural consultancy and award winning social enterprise GORM to deliver one of their “Building Bridges in Business” Masterclasses to our members.

Titled, ‘Attracting diverse talent into the creative industries', this session will be hosted by IAPI Board Member and Director with Starcom, Anna Doyle, she will be joined by GORM founder and social psychologist, Mamobo Ogoro.

With a focus on black and ethnically diverse talent, Mamobo will provide evidence-based tools and strategies for leaders in the creative industries to better attract such talent to their organisations.

Mamobo Ogoro, Founder, GORM

Mamobo Ogoro is a Social Psychologist and multi-award winning social entrepreneur. As the first Sanctuary PhD Fellow at the University of Limerick, Mamobo’s research investigated migrant identity construction in Ireland and how systems of inclusion and exclusion affect migrant communities in Ireland. Mamobo is on a personal mission to unify the world. She is the Founder and CEO of GORM, an intercultural consultancy and award winning social enterprise on a mission to unify across differences and advance belonging for marginalised communities. Mamobo has been heralded for her work with GORM on countless occasions, she won the 2023 Tech and Digital award in the eir Power of Women awards, and was the first Irish person to be shortlisted in the prestigious global Echoing Green Fellowship.
