It is imperative that we narrow the gap between the financial and marketing functions within organisations as the brand value in PLCs becomes increasingly eroded by short-termism in thinking and financial reporting.

Especially now, as the intangible asset value of the brand is starting to appear on balance sheets, the language and narrative about what is a great financial branding strategy needs to be defined.

This morning seminar is aimed at CFOs and CEOs; as well as Senior Marketers and Agency Leaders, as we hear how leading brands have navigated through the language and cultural barrier to align their business, financial and marketing strategy. The results of which have considerably increased the value of their brand in the market.

This talk will demonstrate how the collaboration began, how functional departments had to adapt their mindsets to meet in the middle and how the process was tracked and measured throughout.

This event is not to be missed with an exceptional line-up of speakers including:

  • David Haigh, CEO, Brand Finance
  • Damian Devaney, Global VP of Marketing and Communications, Smurfit Kappa
  • Ken Bowles, Group CFO, Smurfit Kappa
  • Sharon Walsh, Global Cider Director, Heineken
  • Alan Cox, CEO, Core

This is a free, invitation-only event for IOD members, IAPI agency leaders and CMOs. To register your interest in attending, please email katherine@iapi.com or add your name to the waiting list above and we will come back to you as soon as possible.
