The Smart Group were appointed the Official Marketing Partner of the Pendulum Summit, the world's leading business and self-empowerment summit annually. This huge event has up to 6,500 Individuals and business executives travelling to the iconic Convention Centre Dublin. The Smart Group supported this partnership through strategic marketing solutions including creative services, print media and promotional merchandise.


The Smart Group devised a strategic brand activation required to maximise this opportunity and gain total exposure. From conception and design right though to execution of the project. There were two phases to be considered, the pre-event national campaign and the event day itself. The Pendulum Summit is a significant event in the business calendar therefore, the aim was to ensure that the audience felt inspired and stimulated to become the best version of themselves.


When reviewing what branding was required for the event The Smart Group wanted to ensure that the brand fundamentals where consistent with the theme ‘Breakthrough to Brilliance.’ With a world-renowned speaker line up including keynote speaker, Sir Richard Branson, the branding also needed to reflect not only the top quality of speakers but the strong, powerful, and inspirational tone of Ireland’s largest summit.


Owned, earned, and paid media: TV, Radio, OOH, Print Media with a heavily promoted digital and social media campaign. Branding also consisted of promotional takeaways for attendees including pens, notepads, and umbrellas.


Ireland’s largest summit attracted over 6,500 delegates who have travelled from all over the world which in turn aimed to raise €20m for the local economy for increased national brand awareness.
