Mission of the Role

Lead the ongoing Digital Transformation of SN Ireland, ensure our brands & services deliver an exceptional digital experience and create a new standard in our category, giving us sustainable superiority vs. competition.

Ensure (by working in close collaboration with brand & healthcare teams) that best digital marketing practices are integrated into brand & CRM strategies.

Drive our business performance through brand preference, loyalty (longer journeys) and brand advocacy thus maximising our ROI.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Transformation

Lead the SN Ireland agenda with the Regional Digital Centre of Excellence to ensure best in class digital marketing approach is integrated across Consumer and Healthcare brand strategies.

Full ownership in Ireland of the Digital Tech Infrastructure, Digital Innovation, Data Strategy, CX & Digital Media Agency agendas – including resource optimisation, in close cooperation with Head of Consumer Marketing, HC Director & Brand Leads.

GtB rollout, including embedding ways of working in maximizing Customer Value Journey (CVJ)

Contribute to Strategic direction of our consumer loyalty platforms and consider new business models, e.g. Direct To Consumer (DTC), Service Platforms etc.

Support brand teams in leveraging best practice social media, SEO and PPC strategies in order to ensure that SN brands engage with consumers/patients/HCPs in a meaningful way thus establishing long term relationships of mutual value, which in turn drives advocacy and life-time values through the consumer/patient journey and delivers ROI for the business

Own the relationship with our Digital media agency to ensure a strong ongoing working partnership

Reporting & Analytics

Lead digital reporting and analytics for the business in close collaboration with the media agency and Digital Manager. Derive insights from the data and make actionable recommendations to the brand teams on a monthly basis.

Digital Innovation

Lead media innovation to ensure SN brands keep pace with changing consumer/patient/HCP habits regarding content consumption and brand interactions.

Interactions – Internal & External

Necessary to work effectively cross functionally at all levels with colleagues from Consumer Marketing, Healthcare, global Digital, S&I and the SN Ireland management team.

External Relationships: Ensure that Ireland has all the necessary agency partners in place to ensure excellent execution of all digital activities and infrastructure. Lead the feedback process with digital agencies as required.

People Management: Upskill all relevant teams in leveraging digital infrastructure. Manage, develop and coach digital manager

Scope & Impact

Direct responsibility for digital infrastructure budget. Input on how to best maximise ROI on brand digital budget.

Driver of key digital KPI’s for SN Ireland organisation

Impact on multiple functions across the SN Ireland team

Key Skills & Experience

BBS with Marketing or Equivalent

5-8 year’s experience in marketing within with demonstrable experience of working in an digital environment. Experience within the FMCG or Healthcare sectors would be an advantage but not essential.

Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver clear, business driven recommendations

Experienced team leader – managing and coaching others to develop their leadership skills.

Excellent communication skills – able to lead and influence across all functions and levels.

Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.

Experience in SEO and Google PPC advertising.

Experience in managing social media campaigns, particularly Facebook and Instagram.

Proficiency in Google Analytics would be desirable.

Exposure to Google Marketing Platform and the Adobe Marketing Stack would be an advantage but not essential.
