We are looking for an ambitious Programmatic Intern who is looking to progress their career by joining our multi-award winning digital & performance team. This role will suit a recent graduate with a technical background (marketing, business or finance degree) & full training will be provided.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role will be to support the Programmatic Manager with the end-to-end process of programmatic campaign activation. As a Programmatic Intern you will primarily be focused on setting up, monitoring, optimising, and reporting on campaigns, and ensuring KPIs are met for all clients. You will also support the wider planning teams with campaign insights and analysis which can be used to plan and activate future campaigns.

This role will be suited to someone looking to begin or grow their career in digital advertising. It will provide an opportunity to utilise best in class technology and work on a mix of branding and performance focused campaigns. You will need to be proactive, inquisitive, attentive to detail and accountable, as this is a high performing and fast-paced role. Full training and support will be provided by team members with excellent prospects for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Set up programmatic campaigns based on client approved media plans

▪ Daily optimisation of programmatic campaigns, across display, video and audio

▪ Monitor the performance of programmatic campaigns and analyse results

▪ Provide feedback to the wider digital team on optimisation opportunities

▪ Work with the digital team to respond to client briefs and enquiries

▪ Identify performance trends and insights that can be used to plan for future campaigns

▪ Interface with creative agencies and external suppliers

▪ Provide detailed performance reports for clients during and after campaigns

▪ Carry out market research for pitches

▪ Manage billings & orders for programmatic campaigns at the end of each month

▪ Provide support on ad operations & trafficking digital campaigns

▪ Learn and utilise basic troubleshooting techniques and assist the team with day-to-day

technical issues that arise

▪ Develop a strong understanding of the multiple platforms involved in programmatic advertising

Key Experience & Skills


▪ Proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Excel & PPT

▪ Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in numbers – ability to analyse and manipulate large amounts of data

▪ Strong written and verbal communication skills

▪ Keen interest in technology/advertising

▪ Efficient time management and an ability to multi-task when working to deadlines


▪ Experience working with Google platforms (DV360, Campaign Manager, Google Analytics)

▪ Knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and an interest in learning more
