The purpose of this role is to lead the day to day implementation of strategy through aligned PPC activation, campaign optimisation and performance management. Monitoring and managing all PPC activity against KPIs set, budgets allocated, and relevant timelines and SLAs.

Job Description:

Your Main Areas of Responsibility and Accountability:

  • Take briefs and use market research and consumer behaviour to help define KPIs and strategy
  • Create strategy proposals for clients
  • Undertake and support Search Planners in the following:
  • Daily visibility and optimisation checks for all accounts
  • Regular optimisation of all campaign elements (KWs, adcopy, landing pages, etc) based on agreed campaign KPIs
  • Manage relevant technology and tools used on accounts.
  • Deliver regular reporting to clients according schedule. All reports are to be timely, accurate, literate and insightful
  • Work with external and internal resource to deliver all reporting requirements
  • Manage competing client requests and establish team priorities
  • Undertake and support Search Planners on the weekly calls and monthly presentations
  • Build trusting and strong relationship with each client contact
  • Support client needs while understanding SLAs and SOWs
  • Remain abreast of developments in PPC and broader search and digital space
  • Provide feedback and coaching to Search Planners
  • Be able to look at your client’s objectives as a holistic digital marketing need, and not siloed in PPC
  • Challenge your clients to think outside of the norm
  • Understand your clients industry and products/offerings as well as they do
  • Push forward the right strategies for your client based on their industry and offering

The Experience and Qualifications You’ll Need:

  • 3 years + PPC experience
  • 3 year + experience in a client facing digital role
  • Experience in other areas of digital is a plus
  • Passionate about digital media and committed to building a career in search marketing
  • Strong client servicing background
  • Has lead or managed a team or is keen to do so

The Knowledge & Skills You’ll Need:

  • Strongly numerate and comfortable manipulating data sets
  • Highly literate with a good understanding of how language is used
  • Good communicator, comfortable with showing what data means and how we can take action based upon it
  • Commitment to deliver first class work every time, and never leave a quality issue unchecked
  • Diligence and attention to detail in optimisation and reporting
