Mindshare Media Ireland are looking for Paid Social Account Manager to become part of our rapidly expanding Invention Team. The Invention unit is the hub of the agency’s creative thinking, focusing on non-traditional activations through branded content, influencer activations, sponsorship, experiential and social media. Basically, we like to do things a little differently!

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the social strategy and implementation of number of clients’ across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest and will be accountable for the revenue generation and profitability of the department. This individual will work across the company to assist various groups in the development and implementation of social media strategies and tactics to support client initiatives and campaigns. This position requires strong project management, technical skills and interpersonal skills to be able to quickly respond to clients’ needs.

Key responsibilities & Qualities

Client Leadership

  • Manage client relationships
  • Develop social strategies in line with agency partners
  • Attend weekly / monthly WIPs
  • Present latest best practices and news

Buying

  • Technical skills across all Social platforms
  • Managing large budgets spread across various clients
  • Comfortable using third party technologies
  • Working knowledge of media & social media terminology & metrics
  • Working knowledge of pixels & tracking methods.
  • All billing and financial management

Leadership

  • Assist with ongoing development of junior staff
  • Thought leadership on topics related to social media
  • Working with global network on social best practice

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ demonstrated experience within social media and / or media buying
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
  • Keen interest in Social Media & Digital Marketing
  • Exceptional project management skills and ability to manage ones own time as well as the team’s time.
