Offline Planning and Investment Executive

Job Description:

Role Purpose: Responsible for the planning of radio and press for a set list of clients whilst ensuring that best practice is adhered to in day to day activities and when dealing with publishers, strategists and planning teams. Ensure delivery of plans against client objectives/targets whilst balancing agency trading objectives and ultimately driving revenue & profitability that delivers business value for the client and the DAN commercial agenda.

Your Main Areas of Responsibility and Accountability:
Implement and execute the offline planning process working collaboratively with client management to ensure the client brief is delivered upon including timelines and budget whilst delivering maximum value in all investment for clients

Understand the trading implications of planning decisions made to ensure agency and client objectives are delivered

Review plans to drive greater margin and value and ensure investment is guided towards the most appropriate partners

Build and develop media owner relationships in order to drive market leading planning and value for clients

Develop and cultivate relationships with internal DAN+ specialists and client management and where necessary, the client point of contact ensuring that the internal brief is being met to a consistently high standard and becoming a trusted advisor

Working in partnership with client management, ensuring campaigns go live on time and adhering to Service Level Agreement’s

Build a foundational knowledge of commercial awareness with regard to client P&Ls to KAP delivery

Ensure that the operational finance process on clients is smooth and error free. Facilitate and drive issue resolution.

Ensure all client retention and growth targets are met and all client opportunities for lateral expansion are identified and optimised.

Build your knowledge of the media market as a whole
