About the Role:

  • Responsibility for delivery of agreed direct sales revenue targets, with defined responsibilities around the contra revenue target
  • Contribute to production of an annual sales plan aimed at delivering the division’s growth targets
  • Grow the existing direct client base through strategic targeting and development of bespoke campaigns, utilising some or all of the advertising product portfolio
  • Collaborate with VM B2B team to maximise advertising revenue from existing connectivity customers, assist in the upsell of connectivity packages to advertising customers, and create outstanding value holistic packages to new customers of Virgin Media and Virgin Media Television
  • Present ideas to new clients and competitively pitch against other media owners to win new business
  • Ensure advertising rates are consistently within internally agreed pricing parameters
  • Successful implementation and delivery of all campaigns
  • Regular financial reporting, forecasting, billing and assisting the finance team in adhering to credit control processes
  • Continually monitor and improve the Virgin Media Television new customer proposition, pre-empting and reacting to client needs and competitor activity
  • Ensure a ‘Red Hot’ standard of customer service and client satisfaction, including managing a continually up to date New Customer deck
  • Attend relevant industry events and seminars to foster new relationships and gain new customers
  • Foster and promote an environment of mutual trust, respect and dignity in the workplace
  • Play an ambassadorial role in the company’s engagement agenda
  • The above list is not exhaustive. You will be expected to perform duties as necessitated by your changing role and the overall business objectives of the Company, as directed

Specific Tasks/ Duties:

  • Main Outputs: (e.g. reports, written correspondence, sales)
  • Contribute to the development of the annual revenue delivery plan for the New Customer division and contra revenue line
  • Produce weekly sales activity, funnel and performance reports
  • Ensure accurate contracting and billing of all campaigns
  • Key Results Areas (e.g. deadlines or targets, measures of customer satisfaction)
  • Achievement of sales targets and delivering revenue budget
  • Ensure all sales are booked for a given month on Landmark and contracted appropriately
  • Ensure all processes are optimised and continuously improved across sales, product portfolio, billing, customer service, communication
  • Key Responsibilities: (responsibility for particular functions, staff, budgets, equipment, etc.)
  • Contribute to delivery of direct sales and contra targets
  • Deliver individual direct sales targets

Working Conditions and Environment

Environment: Office environment with business travel to client meetings, industry events, VMTV/VMIE events etc.
