What will I be doing?

Lead Generation

  • Responding to prospective client telephone enquiries with speed and expertise
  • Proactively generating leads and networking
  • Qualifying, negotiating and closing sales opportunities
  • Treating each lead as a chance to impress
  • Working with the New Business Manager in UK to maximise portfolio opportunities

Client interaction

  • Identifying, calling and presenting face to face with prospective clients
  • Creating and real time updating sales pipeline
  • Promote Verve and educate on our range of specialities
  • Utilise latest business strategies that yield results
  • Report to Senior Management Team on current trends

Client relationship building

  • Nurturing that “budding” partnership to full potential
  • Generate ideas to match client’s needs / portfolio
  • Nurturing relationship with key decision makers to be included in pitch lists and land briefs with the Verve Brand in mind
  • Act as a key knowledge base for business development initiatives
  • Working with multiple (internal/external) stakeholders to effect pitch responses that nail the client brief and have real impact to prospective clients
  • Investigating and implementing innovative new ways to build and promote the company brand


  • Attend networking events to expand your contacts and the prospects for Verve
  • Sourcing prospective clients using social media, and referrals to stay ahead of trends and push the brand

Targets and KPI’s

  • Working towards and achieving sales goals per quarter / year
  • Acquire more business acumen through research, and analysis of industry trends and developments
  • Weekly reporting into Senior Management on pipeline progress and wins/successes
  • Keeping internal pipeline tracking up to date and relevant for reporting

What kind of person are we seeking?

  • Have previous experience in a B2B environment
  • 3-5 years working at Sales Manager
  • Educated to Degree or Masters level in Business with a track record of Business Development (desirable)
  • Confident at presenting and communicating in both written and verbal forms
  • Resilient, detailed, successfully work on own initiative
  • Handle demands, targets, guidelines, and multiple deadline situations
  • Be consistent, dependable and efficient
  • Self-motivated with great energy and passion
  • Have an approachable and driven personality with a passion for live events
