Group Account Director - Dublin

Connelly Partners (CP) is a full service creative agency with offices in Dublin, Boston and Vancouver. We are creating a new role in Dublin and it’s an exciting time to be part of a hard-working, entrepreneurial team that spans 3 time zones. You will play an integral part in growing the agency, our culture and impacting how we do what we do. We need an experienced, resourceful, poised, commercially savvy Group Account Director who will lead the teams managing multiple integrated accounts in the insurance, finance, automotive and transportation categories, as well as driving agency growth by identifying pitch opportunities for the agency. A proven self starter with strong industry relationships, part of your remit will be to bring new clients to the agency as well as growing current clients revenue. Currently we are all working from home, but we are looking forward to getting back to the office in Ringsend, Dublin 4. While we cannot predict exactly when we'll be back in the office, we will institute a work from home policy. The details of that policy are currently in the works, but what is most important to us as an employer is striking the right balance of the "new normal” and ensuring flexible work/life balance for our employees with the in-office collaboration we've previously seen drive much success.

Role Overview

The Group Account Director is a critical client partner role demonstrating leadership, strategic direction, accountability, business acumen and vision for their portfolio of businesses. The Group Account Director effectively leverages experience, knowledge, and skills to drive innovative thinking and set challenging team goals and objectives by balancing client, company, and team needs.


  • 7 plus years as Account Director in a creative agency.
  • Demonstrated supervisory, delegation and strong mentorship skills
  • Proven track record of client and team success
