Role Purpose

To lead the advertising and content production team within Kellogg’s Europe.

Responsible for through the line management of all creative and production agencies.

Responsible for all content produced in the region including advertising (including digital content), partnerships, adaptions and distribution.

Key Accountabilities

Advertising & Content team lead

• Responsible for the motivation, quality and capability of the A&C team (5 direct reports), including constructive feedback and coaching on performance against goals and competencies. Overall accountability for projects under the remit of the A&C team including agency management, content creation & production, budget management.

Management of our creative agencies

• Responsible for driving partnership and optimal return on investment with our agency partners. Quality and performance is priority, driven through clear and aligned KPI's, day to day quality management and ongoing performance evaluation. All operational management delivered to the highest standards including scope of work, team and resource, fee negotiations, compensation models, contracts/ service levels, teams and fees. Deliver SRM processes and reviews in collaboration with Procurement.

Creative communications development

• Working in consultation with the Portfolio brand directors and our agency partners throughout the communications development creative process to deliver quality campaigns, ensuring briefs and KPI’s are met and excellence in execution.

Content Production lead

• Lead content production for all Kellogg brands across advertising, digital, partnerships, print, adaptations and distribution. Manage our production suppliers and identify opportunities to drive quality/value equation and maximise ROI. Manage in-house content production, analyse industry trends and identify opportunities to drive agile, efficient production solutions.

Budget management for Advertising & Production

• Manage full budget scope including agency fees and production budget across our Cereal and Snacks business and maximise our investment. Accountable for accurate management of budget including tracking change and timely reporting. Identify risks and opportunities to enable reinvestment. Responsible for budget management processes and planning processes to enable accuracy and full oversight.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Educated to degree level / business school graduate, or equivalent, with a minimum of 12+ years’ relevant experience within an agency or marketing organisation

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team with the capability to manage and influence at senior level and can build strong relationships with agency partners and marketing teams within Europe.

• A flare for financial and budget planning together with a keen commercial focus.

• Strong advertising and content production acumen with a genuine passion for excellence in brand building communications.

• Strong intercultural awareness and the ability to build “long distance” relationships is essential.

Role Dimensions

• Leading a team of 6 people in Dublin

• Managing creative agencies and production companies in London and Dublin

• Working closely with brand teams in Dublin and Geneva

• Leading, controlling and maximizing the effectiveness of over $25m of spend across the region
