As Digital Strategy Director, you will be an integral part of the client/planning team at PHD, providing essential input and support to the client account teams, and working with digital specialist teams and suppliers, to deliver great work and exceptional client service.

In your role you will be responsible for managing the digital strategy for key clients including development and input into annual plans, preparation and execution of campaign plans, co-ordination of specialist functions and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work in a team, have strong communication skills and be able to build relationships internally & externally.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Strategy and planning for key clients including annual digital strategy and key campaigns.

• Development and implementation of innovation & projects based on performance insights/market data.

• Brief and align digital specialist teams to ensure efficient WOW and client delivery.

• Working closely with digital specialist leads to co-ordinate and deliver best digital practices for clients and to increase extraction opportunities across clients.

• Work closely with the campaign management team to set up and deliver more insightful reporting and digital attribution

• Digital supplier lead for PHD – responsible for negotiation and adaption of supplier offerings.

• Client (inc. Central client) reporting and efficiency improvements

• Lead for digital audits for audited clients

• Lead PHD digital contact for PHD central team inc. responsibility for applying PHD’s global digital strategy and innovations to the Irish Market. Additionally, ensuring Ireland is put forward as a test market for central where applicable.

• Be actively involved in new business efforts from qualifying opportunities to leading digital pitch teams.

Specific skills in relation to this role include:

1. Technical digital skills: Strong experience working with digital interfaces across all digital platforms

2. Communication: Be a consummate written and verbal communicator, equally comfortable dealing with media owners, clients and colleagues. Additionally, strong experience in presenting and reporting to all levels in a business.

3. Teamwork: Proven track record working as part of team, collaborating with other functions and external teams.

4. Strategic Thinking: Experience in developing strategy and plans that drive effective business performance.

5. Problem-solving: Proficient in identifying problems and providing quick and corrective solutions

6. Commercial acumen: strong commercial understanding including finance/billing management and driving new financial opportunities through digital media platforms.
