Digital Designer – Havas Dublin

The Opportunity

Havas have launched their exciting Village offering in Ireland and we are looking for a talented Digital Designer to join our creative business.

We are looking for experienced people with a passion for creative thinking and a strong problem-solving mindset. They will be self-motivated, with experience working on highly creative and effective digital campaigns.

As part of the Havas family, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow while working with great multi-disciplinary teams, as well as collaborating with our sister businesses, from business consultancy to CX, and the 70+ Havas Villages around the world.

As a Digital Designer, your day-to-day tasks will consist of collaborating with other teams to define requirements, iterate on design solutions, and contribute expertise to developing a range of digital content formats.

The ideal candidate should be able to efficiently combine creativity, functionality and technology to produce stand out creative content across a variety of multimedia platforms, including, but not limited to animation, graphic design, display development, UX/UI and web-design.

We are looking for a talented, motivated Digital Designer to join Havas Dublin. A successful candidate will bring enthusiasm, know-how and be driven by a need to make the work matter. They will:

• Provide industry experience and platform know how to the team, understanding the technical requirements across platforms.

• Work alongside an interdisciplinary team of developers, strategists, designers and creators.

• Designing and producing interactive online content, including for display, social media, email templates and websites.

• Be able to collaborate with team to transform concepts into digital brilliance.

• Be able to liaise with media partners to provide display and banner solutions

• Identify design opportunities for clients to use digital platforms to enhance their marketing mix and maximize target engagement.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in creating storyboards, developing animation/motion graphics, content graphics, visualization of information, and video editing with Adobe After Effects and/or Premiere.

• Ability to edit and create content for social media

• Proficient knowledge of Adobe programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe XD, Adobe Premiere, InDesign.

• HTML 5 and CSS knowledge is desirable. As well as be able to design and develop simple HTML emails with tables.

• Experience in working with animated banner ads built-in Google Web Designer and knowledge of the industry standards.

• Be comfortable in creating mock-ups, prototypes, wireframes, and user interfaces

• Understanding of digital channels including site, social media, email, and paid advertising

• Knowledge of industry standards and passion for all new digital technology

• Problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail


• 2 years + of design experience ideally within an agency setting.

• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Google Web Designer, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe XD, Adobe Premiere, InDesign, HTML & CSS

• A portfolio showcasing your work.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

• A passion for digital communications, a curious mind and a love of learning.
