As a Digital Account Manager in OMD, you will play a critical role within the client teams, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of certain client digital business, driving the creation of brilliant work and delivering exceptional client service.

Under the guidance of the Business Directors of the brands you work on, and the Head of Digital, you will work closely with the teams and specialist functions (such as PPC, Programmatic and Social Media) to manage consistent and excellent execution of digital strategies.

You will be expected to embrace OMD’s approach of ‘Better Decisions Faster’; always striving to deliver more effective and innovative campaigns for our clients. Through your role as Manager you will be supported by Digital Account Executives to whom you will provide on the job training in digital best practice.

OMD Ireland’s client teams operate in an integrated structure, with digital specialists working closely with members of the team who manage above the line media. Your role is to lead the digital output on key accounts, whilst keeping other members of the client team fully up to speed and involved in the digital planning process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and manage digital display advertising campaigns.
  • Manage and maintain exceptional relations with digital publishers and network & agency partners to ensure effective campaign execution.
  • Provide consumer, competitor and vertical insight as required to support the digital media strategy and ensure integration into the strategic planning process.
  • Analysis and reporting of campaign data, providing recommendations for future investment and feeding back learning.
  • Regular communication (and face-to face meetings as required) with clients.
  • Ensure work is delivered on time and exceeds expectations in terms of quality of insight and ease of understanding.
  • Contribute creative & innovative thinking by understanding the latest developments across all digital media.
  • Day to day management of accounts to include budget, forecasts and financial process.
  • Understanding and oversight of key processes such as website tagging and dynamic creative implementation.

Experience required:

  • Previous experience in digital media planning and buying with a strong understanding of ad serving technologies and campaign tracking.
  • Strong client facing communication skills.
  • A good level of proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and an excellent understanding of the digital ecosystem
