Pitching is part of the new business process. Fundamentally, therefore, pitching is about being memorable versus competitors, really standing for something and having a compelling point of view or argument. We are all facing the challenge of pitching remotely, so how are client expectations changing and how can you increase your chances of success? This workshop will explore client motivations, developing the optimum internal process, raising pitch engagement levels and structuring the best argument.

This is a senior level workshop that will cover:

  • Remote pitching - how pitching and client expectations are changing.
  • How to pitch in 10 key stages.
  • The client’s perspective – drawing up the shortlist, pitch processes and evaluation, what clients look for, where pitches succeed and fail (feedback from hundreds of post-pitch client interviews).
  • Getting your internal pitch process right.
  • Structuring your argument, ways to raise audience engagement.
  • Winning techniques and practical tips for remote pitching.

Duration and Registration:

This course is run as a 2 hour interactive session on Zoom. It is a workshop designed for small numbers.

This training is subsidised by Design Skillnet and IAPI - this grant is allowing us to provide a lot of free training to IAPI members. To facilitate as many agencies as possible benefiting from this training there will be a limit applied per agency for registration to this session. Please email katherine@iapi.com to register your interest in this session.

The maximum number that can take part is 30 so please register your interest as soon as possible and we'll come back to you promptly with the Zoom link. If you register for a place it is very important that you are available to attend. Drop-offs will make the session less effective for those still in attendance.
