However, many biases get in the way of us being effective leaders, team members and colleagues. And for the most part we are unconscious about them and how they impact both others and ourselves.
This three-hour workshop will help you understand why non-conscious bias is a normal part of human life and how by becoming aware of it we can lesson its negative impact. You will leave with a greater understanding of the particular biases you may hold and how to work on addressing them in order to enhance your individual effectiveness.
Clodagh Hughes is CEO of Motive8 an Organisational Development Consultancy that works with individual, teams and organisations to help them perform better.
Prior to setting up Motive8 Clodagh held a number of Director positions in the financial services industry where she was responsible for leading a number of senior teams and implementing strategic change projects. She brings this first hand experience into all her leadership, team and coaching assignments.
Clodagh’s coaching and facilitation style is challenging but fair and her charismatic and positive attitude enables her to bring people along with her in a non-threatening and sensitive way. She works with many teams helping them become higher performing and with individuals who need input into developing and managing their leadership and/ or personal impact.
Clodagh is a qualified social scientist and she also holds a Masters Degree in Business from the Michael Smurfit Business School and a Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching from the Coach Institute of Ireland. She is a qualified systemic team coach and holds a diploma from UCD in organisational renewal and transformation.
