Join us on September 21st for our webinar, Neuro-diversity in the Workplace. Creating an inclusive and diverse workplace culture is fundamental for success, and is vital to maintaining the well-being of your team. Understanding and championing Neurodiversity in the workplace enables employers to foster a more diverse, inclusive and successful workforce.
Although businesses are becoming more inclusive, Neurodivergence has only recently fallen under the umbrella of diversity, and for a long time those who aren't neurotypical have struggled.
We'll hear from a range of different speakers, who will share their thoughts on Neurodiversity in the workplace, personal stories of life as an ND, how this can affect their work role and their mental health.
Iain Preston, Chief Client Success Officer EMEA, Wunderman Thompson
Iain describes himself as a "failed roofer from Leeds, who accidentally fell into the world of the interwebs in 2000". He spent 20 years in agencies small and large, in a variety of roles. For every single one of those years, he explains that he "disguised, exploited, used, abused, managed and mismanaged" his ADHD. Until now.
Today, Iain is happy to sit on the EMEA Board for the international marketing communications agency Wunderman Thompson, as its Chief Client Success Officer. He'll be speaking openly about the reality of being ND, the impact on mental health, and on his role as a business leader.
Adetunji Paul, Multi-disciplinary Creative/Strategist, AIB
Adetunji is an M-shaped strategy and marketing leader with an affinity for brand and digital, with nearly 10 years of agency and brand experience in East Europe, Africa and Ireland. His background is creative, marketing and strategy and often within the context of teams and solo entrepreneurship. Today Adetunji lends his strategy skills shaped by his unique background to all ambitious companies who are passionate about their work. Adetunji will be speaking about living and working with ADHD as a creative. Sharing his coping mechanisms and learnings which have helped him get by.
Dr. Jeffrey Glennon, Neuroscientist, UCD.
Jeffrey Glennon is a neuroscientist linking experimental psychology to biological mechanisms with a track record in industry and academic settings. Jeffrey's background is in cognitive neuroscience / experimental neuro-psychopharmacology. On a personal level, he has an innate curiosity over science and people, what motivates them and how to develop them both as a person and as strong members of productive, effective multi-disciplinary teams.
Teresa Purtill, Director of Services and Solutions, Bord Gais Energy
Teresa is a Global Operations leader with a demonstrated experience in both the travel & tourism as well as energy industries.
