A new territory that is limited only by your imagination where offline and online collide, we discuss with our panellists what the Metaverse might mean for how brands grow and how consumers navigate truth and trust.

Ben Stevens, Global Content & Innovation Manager at Publicis Groupe
Ben has 15 years’ industry experience in content marketing spanning from publishing to brand to agency and is now responsible for driving globally scalable content, innovation services, and global partnerships with the major platform players across the Publicis Groupe. Anna O'Mahony, Global Product and Innovation Lead at Publicis Content
With over 18 years’ experience Anna is the Global Product and Innovation Lead in Publicis Content, a specialist division of Publicis Groupe focused on delivering content marketing and entertainment solutions for brands. Anna leads the development of global service and product portfolio, with a focus on ensuring Publicis Groupe continuously innovate their content and entertainment offering to reflect new platform trends and audience behaviours. The areas that that Anna currently focuses on developing new solutions in are in Content Intelligence and Strategy - data-driven owned and earned channel strategy, Gaming Partnerships - developing brand sponsorships and integrations with partners across the spectrum - broadcast, digital, streaming services, gaming, e-Sports, audio, Metaverse and Web3 - a new focus area, a natural extension of our gaming integrations skill set and all aspects of influencer marketing.
Ian McGrath, Global Media Director, PokerStars
Ian is a multi-disciplined, marketing leader with 22 years of experience across a breadth of industries and business challenges. Ian has years of previous agency experience with both Carat and MediaCom before changing to client-side in 2019. He was appointed Global Media Director for PokerStars in 2021. Ian is a strategic thinker and understands business and opportunity simply do not move at just one speed. He believes all successful plans start with focusing on the desired business outcomes and working backwards to simplify marketing's role in delivering business growth.
Lauren Kavanagh, Innovation and Partnerships Director, Omnicom Media Group
Lauren began her career as a media planner, moving into social media and digital implementation roles, before finding her niche in comms strategy. Currently focusing on building niche sponsorships opportunities, strategizing brand growth and measuring the impact of how big and bold ideas contribute to a business’s overall success, her main focus is on bringing creative, innovative and effective solutions to clients. She is extremely passionate about innovations in the gaming and audio sectors, with a focus on emerging technology and platforms.
Ed Leamy, Head of Innovation, BBDO Dublin
Ed was appointed Head of Innovation for BBDO Dublin in 2021, prior to this he worked with Folk Wunderman Thompson as Creative Technologist. . Ed strives to ensure that innovation within the discipline is a critical input as well as an output. With emphasis moving onto how best to use technology as an enabler of CX, Ed is of the firm belief that the promise of the metaverse will benefit brands and advertisers in the coming years. In 2022, Ed represented Ireland as a Cannes Lions juror in the Brand Experience and Activation category. He also judged the Digital category at the 2022 Dubai Lynx.
Anna Doyle, Director, Starcom Ireland
Anna has over 17 years Media and Marketing Communications experience and sits on the Board of Directors in Starcom since 2015. Most recently Anna joined the non executive board of IAPI in January 2022. Prior to joining Starcom, Anna was a Director at Dentsu Aegis Network for almost 10 years.
Anna’s passion is in building business around people with a depth of experience from all walks of life who are dedicated and passionate about brands, who have the right hunger to innovate and drive growth for business in the future. Anna’s background is in Marketing and Business Strategy with a Masters in Strategic Management. Anna has led multiple award-winning brand portfolios throughout her career including Heineken Ireland, Bulmers Ireland, Lindt & Sprugli, Center Parcs, Diageo Spirts & Innovation, Kraft Heinz, Cadbury’s Mondelez, Kellogg’s, An Post, The HSE and Virgin Media.
