Lindsay Pattison, Chief Client Officer, WPP
In October 2018, Lindsay was appointed Chief Client Officer of WPP, reporting to CEO Mark Read. In this role she is responsible for WPP’s focus on client centricty, and oversees 40+ Global Client Leaders, who lead the largest accounts with 35,000 colleagues globally. As CCO, Lindsay ensures that WPP’s major clients have access to the combined strengths of WPP, that the best talent is working on the client teams, and that they collaborate effectively with WPP companies and Country Managers to deliver fully integrated solutions for clients.
The CCO role follows Lindsay’s role as Chief Transformation Officer for GroupM and WPP. She was previously global CEO of Maxus, a WPP media agency. Her experience also includes roles at Young and Rubicam and PHD Media, as well as a client-side role with Sony Ericsson.
Lindsay is a passionate advocate for business leaders taking meaningful action to improve gender equality, launching a WPP-wide, global initiative (‘Walk the Talk’) to help senior women overcome the barriers to achieving their potential. She is also an ex-President of WACL (Women in Advertising & Communications London), a non-executive director on the board of Design Bridge and sits on Facebooks Global Client Council, influencing policy and product.
Susan Daly, Managing Editor, Journal Media
Susan Daly is Managing Editor of Journal Media, comprising news website TheJournal.ie, sports site The42.ie, TheJournal FactCheck unit and crowdsourced investigative platform Noteworthy.ie.
Susan spent over a decade in national newspapers, moving from sports reporting to news editing, before joining the TheJournal.ie in 2010, taking over as Editor in June 2011 and growing it from start-up to market leader, with over 550,000 daily users today. She is a graduate of UCC and a Fellow of the Sulzberger Executive Leadership Program at Columbia University, New York.
Dee Forbes, Director-General, RTÉ
Prior to taking up her role as Director General of RTÉ in July 2016, Dee was based in London for more than 27 years, working for broadcasters and advertising agency Young and Rubicam. Most recently she was President and Managing Director of Discovery Networks Northern Europe. Before joining Discovery, Dee led Turner Broadcasting’s business in the UK and Ireland. She spent several years working at Turner in a variety of commercial roles, including General Manager for the Nordic/Central and Eastern Europe and EMEA regions, and Head of Advertising Sales for Europe. Dee is a former non-executive director of the board of The Irish Times, she currently sits on the board of Munster Rugby and was a founding director of Ireland's first rural digital hub, the Ludgate Hub. A native of Drimoleague in West Cork, Dee is a graduate of UCD where she studied history and politics.
Fiona Field, Deputy MD, Mediaworks
Fiona Field is Deputy Managing Director of Mediaworks who are part of Core, Ireland’s largest marketing communications company. Prior to this, Fiona was a Board Director and shareholder of OwensDDB and has over 20 years industry experience. A current board member of IAPI, which is the leading representative and advocacy organisation for the Irish marketing and communications sector, Fiona is passionate about elevating standards in the industry and serves on the diversity and inclusion committee for Core.
Fiona thrives on the diverse and challenging nature of the media industry, whilst particularly enjoying the innovative and strategic planning side of the business. Fiona has won multiple industry awards and is a regular commentator on advertising industry related issues in Ireland.
