Teams will compete in the national heats in Ireland in February/March 2025, with the seven winning teams proceeding to represent us in the Global Young Lions taking place on site in Cannes between 16th-20th June.
The Irish Young Lions Competition 2025 encompasses seven categories this year:

There is an entry fee of €150 per team. You must be 30 years of age or younger, born on or after 21st June 1994 and resident in Ireland.

How to register your team:
- Click on Register Online to sign up via Eventbrite
- To register your team, please choose two tickets in the category of your choice. Please ensure you select the correct category as it will determine which charity briefing you are invited to. Selecting two tickets will add up to the entry fee of €150.
- When prompted for ticket details, please enter each competitors name, email, phone number, job title, agency/organisation and date of birth.
If you would like to register multiple teams from one agency at the same time, please email serena@iapi.com providing the same details as per the above for every team which you would like to include and we will arrange a group invoice for you.
Team Registration closes Wednesday 19th February at 5pm.
The charity briefings are taking place on Friday, 21st February from 8.30am at The Concert Hall, East Quad, TU Dublin Grangegorman - a massive thanks to the team at TU Dublin for hosting us.
- HOW DO I GET THERE?
The easiest way to get to the TU Dublin Grangegorman campus is via the Green Line Luas. Directions to the Concert Hall located on the East Quad can be found via Google Maps here>>
There is a coffee shop on site with refreshments available to purchase before and after your briefing, but please note no food or drink can be brought into the Concert Hall.
For 2025, we have two charities who will be revealed at different times on Friday 21st.
Please see your relevant times below:
- BRIEFING NUMBER 1 - FILM, MEDIA AND DESIGN TEAMS
Your charity will be revealed at 9am. This briefing will finish at 10.30am. Please arrive from 8.30am.
- BRIEFING NUMBER 2 - PRINT, PR, DIGITAL AND YOUNG MARKETERS TEAMS
Your charity will be revealed at 11am, and will finish at 12.30pm. Please arrive from 10.30am.
Following the briefing:
You must submit your entry to sophie@iapi.com by Midnight on Sunday 23 February and include the CATEGORY (i.e. DIGITAL / DESIGN / PRINT / PR / FILM / MEDIA / YOUNG MARKETERS) and your team information as supplied upon registration. Your entry will then be assigned an anonymous code before being sent for judging.
Entries to the Digital/ Design / Print / PR / Film and Media competitions must not contain any agency branding.
