Mobile-First Ideas (How to build community-focused & cross-platform ideas)

This session brings all of the previous sessions in this series together by demonstrating how we turn our increased understanding of mobile creativity into effective campaigns.

Mobile-First Video (MFV) is still not the standard way of building in our industry. In this session we share a POV and frameworks to show how to build a mobile-integrated production process that will deliver mobile-first video. We understand that it’s not enough to have great, mobile-first creative, you have to make sure it's seen by the right people, the right number of times, and that it's effectively moving your business. This session will help you understand the power of art and science working together across Facebook and Instagram to make sure your creative is driving impact. The final part of this session will focus on the unique creative considerations for driving results for DR campaigns.

What is the course about?

Year 1 Club is a series of training workshops designed to give the next generation of agency creatives the skills and confidence to master, build and share mobile-first campaigns

Who is this training for?

It is aimed primarily creatives who have recently joined the advertising industry but will be relevant to everyone who is responsible for building and approving mobile-first creative work.


Who will deliver the training?

The training will be delivered by Facebook’s Creative Shop team. Creative Shop is Facebook’s team of Creative Strategists who provide support and advice to advertisers and agencies on how to build effective and inspirational creative work across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and emerging technologies e.g. Messenger and AR.

Training Agenda

There will be four x two-hour sessions which will run bi-monthly from September 2019. Each session will comprise approximately 60 minutes of presentations, 30 minutes Q&A and 30 minutes of pop-up shops where attendees can get feedback on WIP creative from the Creative Shop team.

The dates and topic areas are as follows - book in for each of the sessions individually through each event page;

26th September – Mobile-First Ideas (How to build community-focused & cross-platform ideas)

28th November – Instagram – (How to create culture & build for Stories)

30th January – Emerging Platforms – (How to build creative for Messenger & AR)

26th March – Production, Media Planning & DR (How to bring ideas to life & build for DR)

The training will run from 8.30 to 10.30 am on each of those dates - register for each event individually to ensure your place.
