Jonnie Cahill will give an overview of some key emerging trends and how brands and agencies should be tackling the COVID-19 crisis.
This session will help you to understand the client side mentality in the context of your agency relationship with them.
For example, marketing professionals may be aware of the models showing that it is in fact a time to invest but many clients still won’t invest. What is the reasoning behind this? What are the difficult and extenuating circumstances that clients may be dealing with that will hold them back.

Jonnie Cahill is Chief Marketing Officer at Heineken USA. He joined the business in 2018 where he has responsibility for all marketing output for the brewers US portfolio which includes Heineken, Dos Equis and Tecate in addition to Heineken’s global portfolio in the USA. He consistently describes this as the best job in the world. Prior to arriving in the USA, Jonnie led the Low and No Alcohol Division for Heineken Global from Amsterdam strategically broadening the company portfolio into adjacent categories.
Before taking up that role he spent 4 based in Moscow as CMO for Heineken in Russia. He held a series of senior marketing roles at Telefonica before joining Heineken where he was CMO of O2 and also spent time at Diageo both in Ireland and in Global roles. A graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and Trinity College Dublin, Jonnie is a Fellow of the Marketing institute of Ireland (FMII)
