Cannes Lions: The International Festival of Creativity - has been championing creative excellence since 1954 with the goal of providing a global destination and the definitive benchmark for creativity that drives progress.
This year's festival content programme was designed to help attendees understand and contribute to the industry's - and the world's - most pressing challenges: Sustainability; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Data and Technology; Brand Creativity and Effectiveness; Talent; and Business Transformation.
IAPI is Ireland's official festival representative and we are proud to see how well Irish creativity was represented on the global stage a few weeks ago in Cannes.
IAPI congratulates all the shortlisted agencies and especially Publicis Dublin on winning 4 Cannes Lion awards - 2 Silver and 2 Bronze for their Unwasted Beer campaign for Heineken and the team at Boys + Girls on winning a Silver Cannes Lions Award in the Creative Effectiveness category for their Three Ireland - Connected Island campaign.
IAPI are bringing back the latest & greatest from Cannes Lions this year with an outstanding line-up of speakers bringing you their key take outs & learnings from this year's festival. We'll showcase the most inspiring and interesting work, successful case studies and amazing innovations that roared their way to success at the festival. This event is one not to be missed!

Both Bridget Johnson and Brian Melarkey served as Jury members for this year's festival. Bridget was judging Radio and Audio Lions and Brian was shortlisting PR Lions.
They'll be sharing their favourite case studies, the campaigns that made them think this year, what the experience of being a juror has taught them and the reasons why they believe it’s so important to be a part of?

Laura will be reviewing the work that made a difference at this year's festival, especially purpose-driven pieces. She'll also be highlighting Allianz Ireland's World's Strongest Women work which placed second in the GREAT ADS FOR GOOD voting.
- Mark Noble, Marketing Manager, Heineken Ireland
Mark will join us to present Publicis/Heineken Ireland's highly successful case study Unwasted Beer which won four Lions at the most recent festival. He'll speak about how the work came to be and the massive collaboration involved in bringing this creative idea to fruition.
