UM Ireland, part of IPG Mediabrands and one of this country’s leading creative media agencies, has announced a series of new national TV and Radio sponsorship deals negotiated for their clients, Mater Private and Zurich.

A new one-year sponsorship of The Pat Kenny show on Newstalk FM has commenced with the news and current affairs show broadcast Monday to Friday, 9am to 12noon. The show mixes strong current affairs analysis and human-interest interviews with light entertainment stories plus live music.

In addition, the leading private hospital based in Dublin and Cork has also renewed its sponsorship of RTE TV’s “Today with Maura and Dáithí”, Ireland’s most watched daytime show featuring lifestyle and showbusiness news that broadcasts 3.30-5.50pm, Monday to Friday. In stings aired during both shows, Mater Private emphases its Dublin and Cork locations, highlighting services in urgent cardiac care in addition to its Orthopaedic and Spine centres, specialist Eye centres, Day Hospitals plus Cancer care expertise.

Zurich, one of Ireland's most successful life insurance companies, offering a full range of Pension, Investment and Protection products has partnered with RTE Radio1’s Drivetime for the third year in a row.

The sponsorship commenced with the new presenting team of Sarah McInerney and Cormac O’hEadhra who broadcast from 4.30pm daily each weekday afternoon, dissecting the main news stories of the day.
