Wednesday Evening 17th April 5.30-8.00pm

Join us Wednesday evening 17th April for our inaugural IAPI Speed Mentoring Event. IAPI are excited to engage in this mentorship programme with the aim to bring 20 upcoming IAPI members who are starting out in their careers together with experienced industry professionals.

Our Mentors will share their learnings with our Mentees - fostering new relationships across the commercial creative sector. Spaces are limited for this IAPI members only event – to avoid disappointment be sure to register your interest here.

5 minute time slots, allowing a series of short, focused conversations about specific questions will take place between our Mentees and Mentors. Mentees will switch every 5 minutes to the next spot when the bell rings.

20 x Mentee spaces are up for grabs. Spaces are limited for this free IAPI members only event – be sure to register your interest here to be in with a chance of taking part.

A quick-fire exchange of ideas about career development and business acumen, this IAPI Speed Mentoring Evening is intended to be beneficial in and of itself. Facilitating conversations between Industry Professionals who will benefit from sharing their knowledge and experience with Junior Level Mentees that are seeking insights on their career development questions.

We are looking for mentees who are starting out in their career at a junior level; Account / Media Executives, Junior Creatives / Copywriters.

Trying to progress in your career is difficult, it’s easier to do this with a helping hand. A Mentor’s advice can be beneficial in helping you take the next step in your career. This event should enable you to connect with and learn from other industry professionals and their experiences.

We are looking for Mentors with circa 5 years + experience. We want those who are not overly senior, it’s far more important for you to have a keen interest in talent development. Ideally Middle Management, Account, Media, Creative Directors or Team Leads.

Those of you who have already mentored will be well aware of the benefits of taking on a mentoring role but for the novices (you are very welcome too); there are many benefits, including widening your understanding of the industry, taking part in shaping the culture of the industry, honing your interpersonal skills, plus the personal satisfaction of supporting the development of others.
