"In psychology we used to think that resilience was just about survival, bouncing back from tough times. But the more we understand about the human brain, the more we learn that resilience is about creating daily well-being practices.

That when we grow our inner resources every-day, we are by default rewiring our brain and laying down the building blocks of a resilient mind and attitude." Sheana Keane

Following on from our last session 'smash on Happiness', we were thrilled to welcome Sheana Keane back for ‘smash on Resilience'. Sheana took a look at the concept of resilience and explored the ‘how to’ of building a resilient mind and brain.

In the words of the master of mindfulness, Jon Kabat Zinn, you must “make sure you weave your parachute every day, rather than leave it to the time you have to jump out of the plane.

smash On Resilience has proven to be one of our most popular seminars yet. A large number of you had requested that we make the content available for your colleagues who couldn't make the live seminar and for future review.

To that end Sheana has very kindly provided us with her DECK for download.

We also recorded the session and have made it available for viewing and download on VIMEO.

The video comes in at 50 minutes and please bear in mind that the first 35 minutes cover the Resilience session. From 35 mins on, Sheana brings us through a 15 minute deep meditation that you may want to use outside of reviewing the presentation.
