Dove has announced the launch of the New Dove Advanced Care Body Wash collection with new Micro Moisture Technology. When it comes to our showering habits, new research conducted by Dove in Ireland has revealed that half of adults in Ireland shower daily. But when we do shower, are we doing it right? Just one in three say they have a strict shower routine, and 70 per cent of the Irish public often just scrub the important parts of their body and let the hot water clean their arms and legs.
The survey found that when it comes to self-care, women in Ireland understand the importance of their routine and products. The findings revealed that 66 per cent of men use whatever products are already in their shower, while women are far less likely to use products belonging to their partners, roommates, or family, understanding the importance of superior care.

- Daily Rituals: Young adults in Ireland lead the pack in daily showering, with over half making it a non-negotiable part of their routine.
- Scrub Squad: Nearly half of women in Ireland and an enthusiastic 53 per cent of young adults scrub every inch, every time they shower.
- Everything Shower Enthusiasts: The "Everything Shower"* trend is booming among women (52%) and young adults (78%), who embrace this multi-step ritual. Meanwhile, 48 per cent of males have never heard of the term.
- Shower Sanctuary: For women in Ireland the shower is a relaxation retreat, with 67 per cent using the time to unwind and clear their minds.
- Shower Soundtracks: Listening to music in the shower gets a boost as 31 per cent of women tune into their favourite tracks while they wash.
