LIONS have announced the introduction of LIONS Membership, a year-round platform created to unite the global creative community through access to inspiration, learning, creative resources, a global directory of talent, and both digital and physical community gatherings.

All LIONS members will receive complimentary access to this year’s ‘Cannes Lions Live’, the digital component of Cannes Lions - including live awards results, analysis and commentary, inspirational sessions, immersive community experiences and a dedicated ‘creativity on demand’ channel.

LIONS Membership will welcome everyone, whatever stage of their creative journey. All past and future Lion winners will be gifted free membership, and as part of LIONS’ ongoing investment in future talent, the under 30s will benefit from a lower rate to allow them access to the resources and network they need to develop their creativity.

“We know that extraordinary things happen when the global community comes together, and we’ve known for some time that creative excellence can no longer be tethered to a single week in June," said Simon Cook, Managing Director, LIONS. "For the first time, members of the Lions community can experience the collective power of everyone in the business of creativity, alongside world-class learning and community experiences, unique resources and year-round interaction and visibility. This year-round platform exists for those who seek to drive progress through creativity and will support everyone, at every stage of their journey.”

LIONS will also launch 1954 - an exclusive and agenda-setting club made up of the world’s best creative minds. As well as receiving complimentary access to Lions Membership, anyone who has won a Lion since they were first awarded 67 years ago will have the opportunity to join 1954.

“Imagine what could be achieved if we were able to connect all of the world’s greatest creatives," said Chairman of LIONS, Philip Thomas. "Lions are awarded to a diverse range of the world’s best creative thinkers, including agencies, brands, media owners and technology companies to name just a few. This elite, Lion-winning collective will learn from and teach each other, as well as having unique access to world experts, experiences, insights and resources. We’re confident that the founding members of 1954 will harness their collective power to drive progress through creativity - for our diverse and global community of members, for business, and for the world.”

Annual LIONS Membership is €249 and includes access to Cannes Lions Live (which has a standalone pass price of €249). All Lion winners can apply to join the 1954 club. The under 30s will receive a 30% discount on all membership prices.

LIONS Membership will be available to buy in May with all membership benefits, including access to Cannes Lions Live, available from 21 June 2021. For any queries on Lions membership please email membership@lionscreativity.com.
