Planning Your Career Post Covid-19
Planning Your Career Post Covid-19

As the representative body for the Irish Advertising & Creative Commercial Communications sector, IAPI are acutely aware of the disruption Covid-19 has caused to 3rd level students over the last 3 months.

Our own talent attraction programme has been severely curtailed this year and we are very conscious of the generation of college leavers now entering an uncertain jobs market.

It is to that end that we are ran a nation-wide Webinar on Wednesday the 3rd of June. We provided some context and support for students, making the sector understandable and accessible for new entrants.

We gathered an industry panel that represented of 4 key areas within the industry:

  • Media Buyers
  • Creatives
  • Client Services
  • Strategic Planners

We encouraged all students with even a passing interest in the creative commercial communications field to attend this webinar. We as an industry value talent, individuality and creativity more than most and we are eager that an entire generation are not left wondering what's next or how best to apply their qualification to a real world marketplace.
