On Tuesday, 26th November, IAPI invited all former alumni, supporters and sponsors of the Female Futures Fund to join them for a toast to celebrate five years of the initiative in the Arrol Suite at The Guinness Storehouse.
This gold standard winning initiative has been making a change in the industry since 2020, showcasing the important role that true DEI and gender balance plays in creating excellent creative work and effective marketing.
Paul Carton, Global Marketing Director, Baileys, opened the evening, remarking on how important it is for them to support the initiative each year and how committed the brand is to challenging stereotypes and celebrating diversity. Diageo – Baileys and Guinness – have been IAPI’s partner in this programme since the beginning enabling over 100+ alumni to benefit from its effect.
Charley Stoney, CEO, IAPI added “Now in its fifth year, the Female Futures Fund has gone from strength to strength to become one of the most well-established and respected professional development programmes in the industry with increasing applications year after year. The impact of this initiative has been inspirational - evident in the achievements and progression of its participants - and long may it continue.”
IAPI then announced the launch of the Female Futures Fund Alumni Network – all past-participants will be invited to join this new group that hopes to continue supporting alumni in their leadership journey. It also aims to build genuine, supportive connections within this growing community.
The Female Futures Fund is dedicated to nurturing, retaining, and propelling outstanding female talent within the industry into leadership roles. Through networking, coaching, and personal development opportunities, the program equips these women with the tools and strategies essential for their leadership journey.
The recipients participate in a series of three full-day workshops facilitated by Danica Murphy, Founder of PRISM Leadership & Change Consulting. As the recipients embark on their journey of growth and development IAPI look forward to witnessing the transformative impact they will have on the industry.
IAPI thanks Diageo - Baileys and Guinness - for their support of the Female Futures Fund over the past five years.
