IAPI is proud to announce the Irish recipient of the 2025 Roger Hatchuel Student Academy Scholarship. Hannah Murphy, an MSc Advertising & Creativity student at TU Dublin, is this year’s worthy recipient following a rigorous deliberation process led by a global selection panel of industry experts.
The Roger Hatchuel Student Academy is a 6-day global learning experience at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, designed for students in their last year of education. Since 2003, the Academy has been inspiring the next generation of creative leaders by giving them the tools, knowledge and connections they need to explore different creative avenues and launch their careers in the advertising and creative communications industry.
Keith O’Connor, Talent Attraction Manager, IAPI said “After a rigorous selection process, 31 students from 31 different countries will travel to the south of France for the Cannes Lions Festival, where they’ll have the opportunity to kick-start their creative careers with the Academy’s highly curated Roger Hatchuel Academy learning programme. Throughout the week, they’ll explore different pathways withing the industry, learn about the creative process, grow their personal brand and build a network of global peers.”
Speaking on her success, Hannah Murphy said: “When I first heard about the Roger Hatchuel Student Academy, I honestly never imagined I’d be the one going. I’m so glad I took the chance and applied. I’m only at the beginning of my advertising journey, so to be given an opportunity like this makes me feel incredibly lucky. Spending a week in Cannes to learn from some of the best in the industry and connect with students from all over the world is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’m beyond excited (and definitely a bit nervous) to dive into it all."
