As the hearing aid market becomes increasingly competitive, Hidden Hearing has launched a bold new national advertising campaign developed by the creative agency Bloom. Now live across TV, out of home (OOH), radio and digital, the campaign’s messaging “Take the Hidden Hearing 7-step hearing assessment – Reassuringly thorough is designed to clearly and confidently promote the Hidden Hearing brand and what sets it apart. Rather than promoting the hearing category.
The campaign focuses on clarity, reassurance and brand ownership. By highlighting Hidden Hearing’s 7-step hearing assessment, the work reinforces the depth of expertise and care behind the brand — a key differentiator in a crowded and often confusing category.
Dolores Madden, Marketing Director at Hidden Hearing, said: “The hearing aid market has changed dramatically in recent years. The level of competition makes it even more important to be crystal clear about who you are and what you offer. This campaign is not about selling the category — it’s about promoting Hidden Hearing; the reassuringly thorough approach that defines our 7-step assessment, and the long‑term, personalised care that sets us apart.”
Caroline Leonard, Senior Marketing Manager at Hidden Hearing, added: “We set out to create work that people could immediately and correctly attribute to Hidden Hearing. From the headline to the execution across channels, every element is designed to reinforce our brand and avoid blending into generic hearing care advertising.”
Yvonne Caplice, Managing Partner at Bloom, commented: Many brands advertise the category rather than themselves. As a result most of their work ends up being misattributed and even worse their spend goes to promote the category leader. In this market our role was to help Hidden Hearing own something distinctive and credible. The 7-step assessment gave us a clear, powerful way to cut through and signal reassurance, expertise and depth.”
The campaign is now live nationwide across high-impact television, outdoor, radio and digital placements.
