IAPI have appointed Hamish Gillespie, Group CFO, FUEL, as their new Board Treasurer. He takes over the role from Helen Stanley, Finance Business Partner, Core. Helen is stepping down in 2025 having given IAPI her invaluable time over the past three years. IAPI’s financial procedures are stronger than ever now thanks to Helen’s diligent work.

Hamish joined FUEL in 2021 as Financial Controller and became Group CFO a year later. Prior to his current role, Hamish worked in production, wholesaling, distribution, and brand building in a wide range of markets across beverages, marketing, IT, and fashion.

As Board Treasurer, Hamish will cast his expert eye over IAPI’s accounts on a quarterly and annual basis. He will also provide sound commercial and financial advice to all IAPI members as needed and bring together Financial Directors across IAPI’s membership for quarterly meetings.

Speaking on his new role, Hamish said, "I am delighted to be joining the IAPI board and am excited to work with such a talented team to promote and grow the Irish industry. As a member I have been impressed by both the range and scope of IAPI’s initiatives and support offered ranging from global issues to individuals’ well-being and careers.
