Dublin-based creative agency, Folk Wunderman Thompson, have announced a number of new hires across the company following a strong start to 2022 which saw them pick up a major win with Lidl Ireland where they will manage their strategic and creative output across all facets of the brand.This new business win adds to Folk's already impressive client list which includes Vodafone, An Post, Bord Gais Energy, Irish Life and Brennan’s.

The nine new team members join across the Client Service, Creative and Digital disciplines. Among the new hires are Conor Thompson who will be the Business Director for the Lidl account. Conor re-joins Folk, having previously spent eight years with the agency before moving in 2018 to roles in both Smarts and Ardmore agencies in Belfast. Conor specialises in growth-driving communications, having worked with iconic brands across the island of Ireland including Vodafone, Johnnie Walker, Network Rail and eir. Zoe Scragg joins the agency as Account Director from Connolly Partners and has extensive advertising and experiential experience working with Irish brands such as Bus Eireann, Bewley’s and Bulmer’s. Other additions to the Client Service team include Holly Tilson, Senior Account Manager, Luke Mulligan, Senior Account Manager and Darragh Thompson, Account Executive.

Joining the creative team, spearheaded by Creative Partner Karl Waters, is Kate Curry, Creative Operations Director, Matthew Moss, Senior Copywriter and Stephen Kelly, Copywriter. Matthew hails from South Africa and brings with him over a decade of advertising experience in both Ireland and his home country. Over the past decade, he has helped create celebrated work for brands like Audi/Volkswagen, Comedy Central, and Jameson as well as worked on cause-driven briefs for WWF and the U.N.

Aislinn Farrell joins the digital team as Digital Designer, producing creative for digital campaigns and working on website UX & UI Design.
