Earlier today IAPI announced the recipients of the 2023 Female Futures Fund programme. After a rigorous process that commenced in March, IAPI received strong applications from nearly 70 talented individuals across our member agency network who aspire to excel in leadership roles. Through a series of comprehensive interviews and judging rounds, IAPI’s panel of experts evaluated each applicant's unique skills, experiences, and potential.

Owing to the continued support of Diageo, IAPI continues to empower these talented women in their leadership journey while contributing towards shaping a more inclusive and diverse future.

Speaking on the programme Carol Montgomery, Head of Brand and Society, Guinness said “This year we received our highest number of entries to the Diageo Female Futures Fund since we launched the programme in 2020. Our judging panel, made up of representatives across Diageo and the advertising agency network, were extremely impressed with the drive and ambition demonstrated by the applicants. The future of inspiring female leadership is bright!

As a result of the exceptionally high standard of entries IAPI has widened the recipient numbers and have chosen to award more than 25 bursaries this year. 28 women will have the opportunity to avail of a place on the programme this year. From a pool of highly talented and ambitious individuals, IAPI are pleased to reveal these 28 women who demonstrated extraordinary leadership qualities, vision, and drive.

The Leadership programme will commence later this year. Once again these workshops will be led by Danica Murphy, Founder and Director of PRISM. Developed by IAPI, in collaboration with Diageo, the 2023 programme is a comprehensive group leadership coaching bursary that is carefully designed to accelerate women into senior roles.

‘The persistent growth of applications for the IAPI Female Future Funds since its inception is a testament not only to the recognition of the bursary itself and what it can provide for candidates but also for the consistent requirement for services like the Female Futures Funds and others that supports the recognition and development of women in our industry.

This year’s applicants should be immensely proud as the calibre of each, and every person was simply inspiring, making it an incredibly difficult process to shortlist this year’s successful candidates. What was evident this year was the depth and breadth of diverse applications and that is something IAPI would encourage we see more of in the future’. said Anna Doyle, Board Director, Starcom and DE&I Lead on the IAPI Board.
