Edelman Ireland’s Creative and Digital teams have created The Eco Explorers Club, a new online platform to inspire and educate primary school children on the wonders of the natural world from SSE Airtricity, proud sustainability partner to Dublin Zoo.
Created in response to the closure of schools as well as Dublin Zoo, to prevent the spread of Covid-19, Edelman worked with SSE Airtricity and the Dublin Zoo Discovery and Learning Team to design five animated educational videos each linked to a different educational topics related to sustainability and the natural world - bringing to life amazing facts about our world; from the animals that live in it, to how we can protect it.
Over the course of the 10-week campaign, alongside the educational videos Edelman will work with ambassadors to create additional content that will live on the website including:
- Draw with Don videos, created by much loved artist and environmentalist Don Conroy
- Storytime with children’s entertainer Reuben the Entertainer
- Yoga exploration classes by Children’s yoga instructor Caragh Egan
- Virtual Tours of Dublin Zoo
Each element of the campaign will also be amplified on social media through animated social assets designed by Edelman that will be shared through Facebook and Instagram.
All content will be hosted on The Eco Explorers Club hub. The suite of engaging content will also be shared across a number of digital touchpoints throughout the campaign, such as @SSEAirtricity YouTube and Instagram.
