Do you know someone who has positively impacted social and environmental issues? Worked towards making the world a better place perhaps through their personal contributions and/or creative campaigns? If your answer was a yes? Then you know a "Champion of Good."

With the Cannes Festival of Creativity right around the corner, ACT Responsible an international non-profit association has opened their nominations to honor the "Champions of Good". With a mission to highlight the power of advertising creativity in raising awareness on social and environmental issues, the Champions of Good initiative aims at acknowledging the extraordinary people of our industry, highlight their actions, share best practices and who have inspired the advertising community.

Each Champion will represent 5 categories:

  • Public Movement (ex: Tarana Burke, #MeToo. Boyan Slat, Ocean CleanUp, Malala Yousafzai activist)
  • Brand (ex: Mark Pritchard, P&G; Paul Polman,Unilever, Jodi Harris Anheuser-busch inbev)
  • Non Profit Organisation (ex: Marco Lambertini, WWF. Kumi Naidoo, Amnesty International,
  • Institution (Maher Nasser UN)
  • Advertising Industry (ex: Michael Roth, IPG; David Jones, One Young World, Laura Maness Grey)

This is your chance to help identify your Champion(s) of Good.

Please complete the short questionnaire below and provide a description of the cause(s) and the outcome(s) of the nominee's efforts and commitment.

The ACT Board Members will review your nominations and select the five Champions who are judged to have made the biggest contributions to society in recent years.

The deadline to send the nominations in is, 12th May, 2023.

The Champions will be announced at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity on June 22nd, 2023 so please send your nominations and give those champions the recognition they deserve.
