Expansion of the BBDO Dublin Strategy Department sees the addition of Adriano Eliezer, being appointed as Planning Director.

A native of Brazil, this is a return to the BBDO network as he held the position of Global Strategy Director at BBDO Germany. He brings a wealth of experience having worked with clients such as Honda, Nissan, Adidas, Citibank, and P&G. He was set for stardom from his earliest days and includes an Effie and Cannes Young Lions for Best Strategist under his belt.

Speaking of his joining the fold, Sarah Hughes, Head of Strategy, said; “I’m delighted to welcome Adriano to BBDO Dublin. He’s a very smart thinker with an impressive track record. I can’t wait to see how he is going to help shape business and enhance creative for our clients. He strengthens our planning function given his international exposure, which benefits all of the accounts he will be working with here.”

In addition to his work as a strategic planner, Eliezer includes over 20 years as a music producer, which stems from his Brazilian roots who counts Tadeu Patolla, the well-known, respected and Latin Grammy Award-winning producer and guitarist, his uncle.

Eliezer is currently based in Germany and working from home in Berlin and will relocate to Dublin with his German wife in a number of months. Speaking about his appointment, he said; “I have wanted to move to Dublin for some time now, so this is truly a dream come true. I am thrilled to be back within the BBDO family again and I quite honestly have to say that I couldn’t be happier. The warm welcome, the camaraderie and the level of detail from a results-based perspective shows how Ireland punches above its weight.”

It has been a significantly buoyant time for the agency which has been on a winning business streak of late, claiming five consecutive successful pitches. Of the wins, they include the retention of IDA Ireland and the Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS), as well as winning the creative account for innovative brand, Southern Comfort amongst others.
