Nigel Gwilliam is the Consultant Head of Media & Emerging Technology, IPA London. Nigel is responsible for representing the media and digital communities within IPA membership and being the first point of contact on all media and digital matters. He is also charged with understanding the implications of emerging technologies to advertising and agencies. As such he makes regular fact finding trips including those to SXSW Interactive & CES, to Silicon Valley and to the Far East.
He is responsible for media affairs at the IPA and in addition to running the IPA Media Futures Group, oversees the IPA’s digital and technology groups, and is a Tech London Advocate.
Quoted regularly in the marketing trade press, Nigel also represents agency interests on a number of key industry bodies including the Board of ABC, the Joint Industry Committee for Web Standards (JICWEBS) and the Digital Trading Standards Group (DTSG).
