Speed Networking session

IAPI and Screen Producers Ireland

Wednesday 15th May

Invitation-only. Fully booked

Free to attend, all welcome.

What’s it about?

The whole area of Advertiser Funded Programming  (AFP) is ripe for expansion. Traditionally this relationship was broadcaster-led. There’s an opportunity for TV producers to meet with agencies and explore the possibilities.

Who’s coming?
15 IAPI agencies - a mixture of creative and media - and 12 production companies, members of SPI.

How will it work?
We start with a panel discussion which looks at the opportunities in this growing area, recent examples of AFP work in Ireland. What are the opportunities?

  • Larry Bass CEO of Screentime ShinAwil UK & Ireland, a TV producer who already raises significant production funding via AFP;
  • Liam McDonnell, CEO of Aegis who has worked on a number of deals with Screentime ShinAwil and other companies
  • Michelle Spillane, Chief MArketign Offricer Micorsoft ireland who has worked in this area and is enthusiastic about the possibilities

You’ll receive a pack in advance to get the ball rolling. It will have details of the production companies, their recent credits and the main producer.

Following the short panel discussion, we start the speed networking.
