The BAI published revised versions of their General and Children’s Communication Codes last month.
New rules around the promotion of High Fat Salt and Sugar (HFSS) food to children come into effect on 2 September. They will apply to all radio and television broadcasters regulated in Ireland. You are invited to a briefing to review the revised codes with a view to clarifying any issues and to provide you with clear and sufficient guidelines in relation to these codes.
This is an opportunity to hear from the BAI and clearance personnel in RTE and TV3 about how the new system will work.
What are the new BAI rules?
